Here is sweet Tanners Birthday cake. It’s a root beer cake
with root beer filling and his favorite game person on top, Luigi. An easy way
to make root beer cake is to substitute some of the liquid for a cake mix or a,
from scratch cake with the root beer flavoring. You can measure out how much
you use and taste the batter until you get the taste you want then add the rest
of the liquid. If you add a vanilla flavored icing or layer it with vanilla
cake you have vanilla root beer cake. How easy is that?
He wanted a pear ginger cake with Italian Butter cream Icing. yum, my favorite too. It's a nice and moist cake and the icing isn't to sweet. The leaves are gum paist and painted gold. A sweet cake for a sweet man.
This was a lot of fun. Its just a small wedding cake for the
fall. Fall gum paste leaves were so much fun to make. I cut some out of red,
some out of yellow and others from orange gum paste. I used the colored powders
to paint them and used floral tape to hook them all together. The cake is
chocolate with a raspberry cream filling, and covered with white fondant with a
chocolate fondant ribbon.

Here is a cake for a friends son, Rylan. He wanted a vanilla
root beer cake with vanilla butter cream icing. yumm. I have thought about
trying a flavor like this, so I'm glad he gave me the opportunity. It had a root
beer butter cream icing filling. He is going to name the new flavor of cake for
me. :) An easy way to make your own root beer cake is to
substitute some of the water for a white cake with the root beer flavoring. I
would say for a box cake mix you would end up using 1/4 Cup of root beer
flavoring.
I did this cake for my Beautiful niece. yes lots of Birthdays this time of year. lol. This is a chocolate cake with Italian Butter Cream Iceing. (My favorite icing. Not to sweet and creamy, yummy)The peacock is out of fondant.

This was one of my favorite cakes so far. It was defiantly one of the most detailed ones. I got to help Anne with this cake. She is an amazing pastry chef and very talented. I got to do the bottom layer, part of the next layer and the leaves. Thanks Anne for letting me help with this one. :)
